McLaren has locked out the front row for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza with Lewis Hamilton on pole and Jenson Button second. Lewis Hamilton grabbed pole position in Monza this afternoon for McLaren in qualifying for the 2012 Italian Grand Prix, with a second place for Jenson Button locking out the front row for McLaren. It had looked throughout Q1 and Q2 that it would be Ferrari who were dominant and likely to take pole, but Alonso suffered a rear roll bar problem at the start of Q3 and ended at the bottom in tenth place.
The New Saab 9-5 UK
The start of 2010 saw a flurry of stories on Saab as the battle lines were drawn to see who would grab control of GM’s troublesome Swede. Eventually – after many false dawns – that fell to Dutch maker of quirky supercars Spyker who – much to the amazement of all – seem to have a very cohesive forward plan for Saab. Back in September, when we were busy running endless stories about the Frankfurt Motor Show, Bugatti decided to release details of their Galibier Concept, a four door supercar powered by the same hugely potent engine as the Veyron.
